Prayer for urgent relief and medical aids for the cyclone-affected people.
Dear Sir
We, the
inhabitants of Rasulpur, have the honour to draw your kind attention to the
fact that a devastating cyclone visited our village on 24 September, 2014. The
cyclone of this time has broken all the records of the past. Thousands of
people have become homeless, foodless, and clothless. In fact, it has caused
untold miseries and sufferings to us.
As most
of the people have lost their houses, they are now passing their days under the
open sky. The children and women have nothing to eat and there is an acute
crisis of pure drinking water. Already there is an outbreak of cholera and some
other diseases. The diseases may turn in an epidemic form at any time.
Under the
above circumstances, we pray and hope that considering the gravity of the
situation, you would be kind enough to make necessary arrangements of shelter, relief
goods and medical aids for the cyclone-affected people.
