Subject: Prayer for permission to arrange a book fair in the college campus.

Dear Sir

We have the honour to draw your kind attention to the fact that we, the students of your college, are highly interested to arrange a book fair on the occasion of the Victory Day. We strongly believe it will enhance the patriotic zeal among the students and increase their love for reading books.

We have already contacted the local booksellers and publishers, and they have also given their consent to participate in the fair. Some of the teachers of our college are giving us necessary guidance. Now what we need most is to prepare and decorate the college playground for this purpose.

We, therefore, pray and hope that your honour would be kind enough to give us permission and necessary assistance to arrange and hold the fair successfully in our college campus.
