Subject: Prayer for arranging a cultural function in the college auditorium.

Dear Sir

We have the honour to state that the first year class of our college closed the day before yesterday and the Fresher's classes are scheduled to begin in a week or so. As we want to give a reception to the freshers, we consider it proper to hold the function of the fresher's reception the day after tomorrow.

Moreover, we also hope that on the occasion, a modest cultural function with provision for light refreshment should be included in the program. The program will take almost two hours in the college auditorium.

Under the above circumstances, we pray and hope that your honour would be kind enough to permit us to arrange the program for the reception of the freshers and oblige thereby.
