| Paragraph - Our College Library |
If knowledge is compared to power, a
library may be compared to a power house. An unquenchable thirst for knowledge is
inherent in human nature. So, a library had an importance for all the time. A
library is a place where books on different subjects are arranged in a
systematic way. A college library is run by the college authority for the use
of students and the teachers. Generally, every college has a library either
large or small. Our college has also a library where we go for reading books.
It is situated in the main building of the college. The students sit in the
middle of the library where chairs around large tables are properly arranged
for reading books. Books are kept on the book shelves. There is a librarian who
issues books according to the demand of the students. Our library has a rich
collection of different type of books. There are text books on different
subjects which students use as reference books. Besides, there are fiction,
novel, poetry, and drama books. At the time of getting admitted every student
is given a 'library card' which one may use to borrow books from the college
library. Our college library is well decorated and provided with all modern
facilities. There are adequate numbers of electric fans overhead. Enough light
and air can pass through large windows. We are benefitted by the reference
books and entertained by reading fiction and non-fiction books of our college
library. Our college library not only helps us making good result but also
gives us a scope for recreation. We are really proud of our college library.
