Dialogue between two friends on poor GPA in
English in HSC Examination
Zafi: Hello
Zarif, how are you?
Zarif: I am
fine and you?
Zafi: I am not
fine at all. I feel very bad because I have got a poor GPA in English.
Zarif: It is
very sad! Most of the students in Bangladesh get poor GPA specially in English.
Zafi: What is
your GPA in English?
Zarif: It's so
good. I have got A+ in English and it was my target.
Zafi: But I
have got only A- though my target was A.
Zarif: Do not
get upset, my friend. I think you would be able to overcome your weaknesses in
English.
Zafi: You are
right. But the problem is that I would not be able to participate in BUET
Admission Test due to my poor GPA in English.
Zarif: It is
true. But I think you should try to get admission into other public universities.
Zafi: You are
right. From now I will try to overcome my weakness in English.
Zarif: It is
undoubtedly a wise decision. In fact, there is no alternative to being
proficient in English.
Zafi: You are
right. We must be proficient in English if we want to develop our condition.
Zarif: Exactly!
Higher education is not possible without proficiency in English as all the
books on higher education are written in English.
Zafi: I agree
with you. Thank you very much.
Zafi: You are
most welcome. Good bye. See you again.
