Dear
Tony,
It seems hard
to believe that I have been in Savar for a whole month now! I promised to write
and tell you how I was getting on — so here goes! When I first got here, I just
could not get used to the slow pace of life! Now, though, I am learning to take
things easy and I am beginning to really feel at home. You cannot imagine how
beautiful the University Campus is!
It is very
large, very green and probably the best campus in the country. It is simply
wonderful. My first impression of the students and teachers here is that they
are really, really friendly and helpful. In addition, the library is wonderful.
As you know I am staying in a hall of residence. Life as a resident student is
so different, particularly if you are used to home comforts.
However, I am
getting used to it. I really feel it’s too bad to be out of Dhaka, especially
in such an idyllic atmosphere as this campus. Sorry, I have a class soon. So, I
have got to go. I miss you so much. Do write back when you have a spare minute.
With love and
best wishes,
Moni.
different and a good one. thx for that.
