Farewell to
the HSC Examinees in Dhaka City College

Mahmud, Dhaka, 05 April: A function in connection with the farewell accorded
to the HSC examinees of 2014 was held on 28 January at Dhaka City College,
Dhaka. The local Member of Parliament was present there as the chief guest
while the principal of the college presided over the function. The function
began at 10 am with the recitation from the Holy Quran in the college
auditorium.
Two hundred
and fifty HSC examinees were given farewell in the function. The chief guest in
the function called upon the outgoing students to be more attentive to their
studies. He encouraged them citing some instances from his own life while
speaking. Two students from the examinees and two from class 11 spoke on the
occasion.
The function
was addressed among others by the vice principal of the college and the
religious teacher who also led a prayer for the success of the examinees. At
the end, the principal delivered his presidential speech and thanked all for
their participation in the function. Thus the function came to an end at 2 pm.
